Ebay have warned it’s share-holders that it was probably a mistake that they bought Skype for $2.6 Billion. They went on to say in so many words that Skype’s original business model doesn’t really support the reality.. I think it’s really starting to show that we’re in another .com bubble at the moment with the acquisitions of various net companies. Even Ebay have got caught up in the moment it seems. Thankfully not as big as the previous .com bubble of the late 90’s, but still something to keep an eye on nonetheless. Just the mention the other day of Microsoft potentially parting with huge amounts of money for a tiny percentage of facebook got me thinking that things aren’t actually what they seem to the .net world. I wonder how long before it bursts? [SHOW ME]
