At this point, i emailed the support staff and stated my problem. they said they needed the directx diagnostic information which i gave to them. I then got an email 2 days later saying it was proabably a problem with my internet. i already knew that and they gave me a link to a support page that talked about a completely different problem. i emailed them back and i got a similar page that had absolutely nothing to do with my problem. I had read that they only give refunds through the ea store in certain circumstances. i sent an email asking if this was one of the circumstances and if so, could i get a refund. The response i got was instructions on how to manually install a disc based game. EA support never gives a straight answer, and i would reccomend avoiding downloading games through the EA download manager as many times as possible i am having a problem with support too
